Mission for a future launch · Current work remains in research

Why this should exist

Experience should not be discarded when technology changes the task.

The mission is to help people carry the most valuable parts of their working lives into the AI economy, while helping companies gain the judgment and operating skill that technology alone cannot supply.

For each person

A career transition should build from what someone has earned.

Mid-career professionals have customer knowledge, business judgment, relationships, and an understanding of how work happens. SkillSiftr is intended to use that foundation rather than asking people to pretend they are starting from zero.

The human promise

Find work with a future without throwing away the experience that made the person useful in the first place.

For companies

AI adoption needs people who understand organizations, not only tools.

A company must decide where AI belongs, redesign processes, manage risk, help colleagues change, and connect technology to customers and results. Experienced professionals can become the operators of that change when the right skill bridge exists.

Implementation

Turn a promising AI capability into a process that people can use.

Governance

Set the rules, oversight, and responsibility that trustworthy use requires.

Transformation

Redesign roles and workflows while keeping the business working.

For the United States

Workforce disruption can become workforce capability.

Helping existing workers move into AI-economy roles can protect productive capacity and strengthen the domestic supply of people who know how to put AI to work inside American companies.

The aim is not only to reduce the damage from displacement. It is to turn experience already present in the country into the capability the next economy requires.

For the wider world

A technological transition should expand human usefulness, not narrow it.

If an end-to-end model works, its value should extend beyond the people SkillSiftr serves directly. The long-term ambition is to publish what is learned and help workforce institutions move from paying mainly for training toward taking responsibility for the complete transition.

That wider effect remains an ambition.

SkillSiftr must first prove that a practical transition can work for a defined group of workers and employers. The research stage exists to earn the right to make larger claims later.
